Here’s the deal...

Hip To Be Me was started by designer Suzanne Billings with the purpose of bringing unique, yet trendy, designs to children and adults. We wanted everyone to look stylish but still be themselves. As business grew, we streamlined our products down to our most popular item, the hand-stamped jewelry. You can express yourself with whatever words you like and tell the world it’s “Hip To Be Me.” So, thanks to a good friend, an enormous amount of determination and lots of family support, we are thriving in stores across the country.

Each piece is carefully designed and crafted by hand especially for the buyer. Each letter is permanently hand-forged into the metal without the use of a machine, and no two pieces are ever alike so you’ll end up with a treasure as unique as you are.

In 2008, Hip To Be Me became an Officially Licensed Vendor of Greek Sorority hand-stamped jewelry. We are proud to have been selected and approved as a vendor. A portion of the price of each Officially Licensed Product will go back to support scholarships and other needs of that specific sorority. We encourage you to buy only Officially Licensed Products in order to protect and support these organizations.
